About Ege
I am a credentialed elementary school teacher. Based on your child's strengths and needs, I can create a learning plan to capitalize on their strengths and support their needs. We can work on math, reading, social studies, and science. I can include different strategies in my instruction (i.e. hands-on teaching, inquiry-based teaching) after identifying your child's learning style.
I can teach reading & spelling by using both the Barton System and the Sonday System. Both systems include proven literacy instructional strategies. Your child's spelling, reading, and writing skills will be greatly improved.
I can also help your child to improve their reading comprehension skills. We can work on grammatical development, verbal reasoning, inferencing, and oral expression skills.
Sharing my knowledge with kids is rewarding and fun. I love interacting with my students, I love learning from them, I love helping them understand the content of any course and I love when they see the connection between what they are learning and their lives.
