About Sinjita

I'm a freshman at Hofstra University's Honors College in the prestigious 6 year Law program, that has a passion for teaching students and English. I've scored a 5 on the AP English Language and AP English Literature exams, and consistently took the highest rigor English classes in my educational career.

I've been tutoring for the last year, and as the daughter of an educator, I've learned the best tricks and tips to help your child reach success! I can tutor in English Language Arts from grades K-12 (including APs), and I'm comfortable tutoring Math (through Algebra II). I've also received the highest scores on AP Government and Politics, and can tutor in debate/speeches/political classes.

I care tremendously for the success of my students and would love to help yours reach their greatest potential.

I love being able to watch students thrive and grow to their fullest potential. My favorite memories of being in school are having teachers and mentors that pushed me further than what was expected of me, and helped me to become the best I could be; not just what the rest of the class was doing.

I'm committed to working with every student to help them achieve whatever their goals may be.

I currently have my high school diploma and spent 12 years in the most academically rigorous classes at my competitive school district (Montgomery Township). I'm on track to receive my Bachelor of Arts and Juris Doctor in the next 6 years.

I understand what the school system is like, and I know how to succeed in it. I can help your child learn the tricks and tips that they need to employ to be at their best.

About the lesson

Typically, we do a consultation to discuss the plans and goals for the student, and I administer a few pre-assessment tasks to gauge the student's level as well as their needs. After that, I am able to tailor the lessons specifically to each unique student to ensure their success.

I've had many tutors before, but Sinjita sets the bar higher. She continually pushed me to do more and become my best, and her extensive knowledge in the school system, having been a student so recently, offered valuable insight and guidance for me coming into high school.
