About Dorothy

I am a teacher and have worked with students of all levels and abilities. I love meeting students where they are academically and helping them progress to the next level. Teaching is my calling and what I enjoy most next to being a parent.

I have just finished student teaching high school English and am about to finish a Master's educator program. I have worked with Special Education students for the last two year.

About the lesson

The typical process is to understand where the student is struggling. I will have a conversation with the parent and student to understand their needs. Once I have the chance versatile I will get a baseline using an assessment. After this, I will prepare materials for the student and begin teaching.
