About Karen
I have
I have taught for 15 years in an elementary school. Trained in all aspects of reading, writing and phonics. Utilizing my certification in all three trainings and applying this expertise to the students I teach and value.
Applying to the NYCDOE the summer of 2005 and excepting a job for that fall school year. My father and extended family were all teachers. Education is the foundation of our future and I frmly believe in the importance of that value at its core.
15 years of elementary school teaching in the NYCDOE. Completion of Leadership program and two MA’s one in elementary education and the other in curriculum and instruction.
