About Jenelle
Zig Zag promises to provide clients with outstanding pedagogy to aid in their academic journey. I have worked as an Elementary teacher for several years, working with students as young as 2 up through 9th grade. I have a Bachelors in English and a Masters in Elementary Education from the University of Virginia. Teaching and Educating are my passion because I enjoy helping students unravel all they can about the world. My job as an educator is not to tell them what to think, but to plant a seed and ensure that it grows.

I need to meet with the student to access initial needs and goals. Does the student need homework help, or organizational support. I would then make a plan and schedule for that student based on their responses. For example if a student wants an hour session but needs math and reading help, I may plan to work with them for 25 minutes on each subject and use the last 10 minutes to assess goal achievement or next steps for the following session.
