About Michael

My focus and goal is to genuinely help people. I too was a student and understand how stressful and challenging academic demands might be from time to time. I truly wish to help those who want to thrive from what they learn.

I enjoy helping people. Selfless service is an incredible endeavor about which I am passionate.

After graduating college and going through graduate school, I am knowledgable in most liberal arts courses. Apart from serving as a youth minister in America and overseas, I currently work at a middle school (as a matter of fact, the same middle school that I attended). I enjoy working and it is my hope to have students grow academically and wholeheartedly.

About the lesson

Working with students is a passion of mine. I believe that a good education liberates the individual. With students, I typically review the content with which they are struggling and explore proper methods that work best for them. It is important to meet students where they are at and work from there.

I have worked with students from kindergarten through twelfth grade. I primarily work with students in grades 6-12.

I would urge students to keep asking questions and attempt to answer those questions. Moreover, I give advice to always go to teachers with questions. It is a teacher's vocation to selflessly help students in their academic pursuits.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Students should always feel free to ask teachers questions. A teacher is called to help students grow academically, and asking questions is a helpful way in doing so. The only question that students should think through before speaking with teachers is, "Is the question appropriate?"
