About Rachel

I currently work as a special education teacher in middle school. I have a master's degree as well as 30 grad credits beyond this.

I am familiar with math and language arts. For reading, I am better at teaching comprehension and reading strategies as opposed to how to read words.

I love to see students succeed!

As a child I knew I wanted to become a teacher. In high school, I worked in the "buddy" program for special education and fell in love with it.

Master's degree in special education, 30 extra grad credits in instructional technology.

About the lesson

Build a relationship, determine their personal goals, assist them in achieving those goals.

Special education, general education

Make sure the relationship is the right fit.

My current students all met their monthly reading goals.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
What do I want to accomplish?

What supports do I need?

How can the teacher help me?

What can I do so far?

What do I need to do next?
