About Cara
I'm a passionate educator offering a 10-year background working with elementary and special needs students. I have a Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the State University of NY at Geneseo, as well as a Graduate Certificate in Assistive Technology from East Carolina University. Previously, I have assisted teachers with all classroom functions, including lesson planning and individual and small and whole group instruction. I am talented in using various strategies to model positive behavior and maintain classroom discipline. I pride myself in promoting student engagement through fun teaching methods and individualized attention with an upbeat attitude.
