About Jessica
Hello and thank you for considering me as a potential tutor! Earlier this year, I graduated from Columbia University, where I was an American Studies major on the pre-law track. I graduated in the top 5% of my class and was award second-place for best Literature Humanities essays (a mandatory lit class for all Columbia freshmen). I have extensive experience with writing, editing, and research as a former executive editor for the Columbia University Undergraduate Law Review and a former writer for The Hoya Georgetown University's newspaper of record.
During my two-year gap before law school, I am working for Franklin and Marshall College as a college advisor stationed at KIPP DuBois Collegiate Academy in Philadelphia. As a college adviser, I work to improve the college readiness of high school students with varying abilities and aspirations. From building college wishlists and brainstorming essay topics to refining resumes and conducting mock interviews, I am eager to help you navigate the ins and outs of the college application process.
