About Karsyn

I am currently a college sophomore at Towson University, and I love to learn. I graduated high school with a 4.0 GPA and as a Valedictorian of my class. I additionally finished my first year of college with a 4.0 GPA. I have excelled at my schooling, and I look forward to the opportunity to help you with your schooling, as well!

A year and a half ago I began to assist in teaching at the school that I went to forelementary school. I was additionally the after-care coordinator for the school.

I have worked in a school (in the school year) and camp (in the summer) for a year and a half now, and before that I helped teach in a daycare setting. I do have some experience tutoring during camp season, and I have much more experience teaching and assisting teaching during the school year.

About the lesson

In meeting and beginning to work with a new student, I would first like to learn about what specifics they are struggling with. I want to know how they learn best so that I can help them learn in that way.

The majority of the students that I have worked with have been elementary aged and preschool students, but I also have much experience with the material required for older students to know and understand.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
They should think through exactly what is troubling them about a subject and ask their teacher about that, instead of asking for general help regarding a subject. That way, their teacher will be better equiped to help them with the specific things they need.
