About Kacie
I believe that learning a new dialect or reducing one's accent should be a piece of cake and anyone can do it! When someone can combine vocabulary and a sense of clarity of speech there's nothing one cannot do :)
I have four years of freelance coaching with Craven Communications.
I started my studies with a BFA Acting degree from Montclair State University where I was in four shows that involved dialect training.
I hopped across the pond to teach English as a Second Language both as a private tutor and in an international primary school.
I then did private teacher training with British actress/dialect coach Eliza Butterworth (Netflix's The Last Kingdom)

I do a consultation session to get an idea of their experience and what their goals are for the short and long form.
From there I create a lesson plan based on their goals and deadline.
We work for an hour at a time one-on-one working on the mechanics of the sounds of the dialect/accent and then end our sessions with practice inputting the work into text.

My dialect coaching session with Kacie was extremely instrumental in securing my first role in my first equity production some years ago; "Dracula" at Actors Theatre of Louisville. She's excellent.
Kacie was so incredibly helpful.
