About Raul

My approach has always been providing tailored lessons based on students dancing needs and capabilities. Most importantly my classes will train you to be able to dance with individuals of all dance levels.

Helping students find their hidden talents and abilities.

At 14 years old I became a member of a cultural dance group that focuses on Dominican Rhythms, customs and traditions. From then on I began exploring other genres.

I have been working as a dance instructor for for over 15 years, teaching students of all ages and in multiple dance genres. I specialize on Bachata, Salsa and Hip Hop, and have experience with basic Tango, merengue, and modern and more.

About the lesson

First an initial conversation regarding the students needs, goal and experience. On dance genres that require more demanding physical movement, a short warmup/workout session is required.

I have had the opportunity to work with students all ages backgrounds as well as students with disabilities.

There are a lot of great teacher in my industry and they can always be found on local dance studios but specially on dance conferences that take place almost every month. Check out videos and their affiliation dance companies.

What are your personal expectations?

Most importantly for my students to have fun and practice everything you learn so in every lesson there’s growth.

In what time frame do I expect to accomplish wanted results?

The time frame in which one can learn a choreography or dance style depends not on the individual’s abilities but in their determination. Repetition, attention to detail and timing are key factors that guarantee fast results.

What is your availability?

Monday-Friday 7am-2:30pm

Saturdays and Sundays Open

What I liked was that he actually taught me the correct way to dance salsa and he took his time.
Love the fact that he can also teach bachata, hip hop, merengue, R&B ect.
