About New World
New World Ballet offers high quality dance education to ages 3 years and up. While we specialize in pre-professional classical ballet training, we also offer contemporary, jazz, hip hop and african dance. We celebrate diversity in dance and in our students and welcome everyone.
About our Artistic Director, Victor Temple:
Victor Temple was born in Republic, Alabama, and raised in Chicago. He has lived in Sonoma County since 2013. He has danced with the Dance Theatre of Harlem, American Repertory Ballet, Oakland Ballet, Alabama Ballet, New Jersey Ballet, Cirque Du Soleil, Hangzhou Song and Dance Group, Shanghai Ballet, and the Central Ballet of China. Mr. Temple has been the artistic director of New World Ballet since 2005. He has been awarded the Spirit of Sonoma award and named one of the 22 People to Watch in 2022 by the Press Democrat.
We believe in creating well-rounded dancers that are prepared to go anywhere they would like to with their dancing. It is exciting to see dancers grow in confidence and ability in many areas of their lives, not just dance. We have many students who have gone on to obtain college dance scholarships and who have become professional dancers.

I have been dancing with New World Ballet for 8 years when I decided to return to dance as an adult after having two kids. My dancing has grown so much in this time.
