About Elexus

Lessons with Lex are a great way to prepare for dance classes, get extra practice outside of class, keep up with technique during off season, or for fun and exercise! I love to work one-on-one because when you are in class you cannot always be seen and get all your corrections. It is nice to have someone just focus on you.

I enjoy seeing my students excel and progress. I also love when my students come back and tell me that my advice or my exercises really helped them in their classes.

I also enjoy sharing what I learned growing up as a dancer and what I have learned as an adult dancer with others today.

I have over 18 years of dance training and performing. From classes in the studio, to summer intensives, to professional teams.

Even as an adult I try to take classes in different genres so that I can be as up to date with the new moves and be healthy!

About the lesson

I do my best to remind my students that stretching is key and very important.

I also allow my students to talk to me about things outside of dance. As a teacher I feel it is important to be an example/ a mentor for my students and find ways to connect lessons learned in class to real life outside the studio. As well as create that safe space for them to feel comfortable.
