Julia's Group & Private Dance Classes is focused on providing high-quality service. It's fun to Ballroom Dance! Musicality & techniques to the basics in your dance is taught by Dance Instructor & Choreographer: Julia Juarez.

I'm sure you'll be happy, joining one or all of my classes.

Julia Juarez – Professional Ballroom & Line Dance Instructor

Has loved dancing as a young girl when she took “Tap Dancing” lessons, but had to stop because her parents couldn’t afford it any more, at that time it was $1.50 per hour. As a young adult she was then able to take it up again as well as clogging & all other types of dances, and decided that she would very much like to teach others this enjoyable & healthy sport.

· She’s Been a Dancer for over 50 yrs.

She passed the “GSDTA” exam for Dance Instructors.

Received a “Presidential Sports Award for Dance” from President Bill Clinton in 1994.

Plus (2) 1st places, (5) 2nd places, & (1) 3rd place for West Coast Swing, Country 2-Step & Line Dancing Trophies.

She was taught by Swing Dance Champions (of which one of them was her sister, Mary Ann Nunez & also was taught by Skippy Blair who is fondly referred to as "First Lady of Swing" from them she learned the following dances: West Coast & East Coast Swing, Lindy Hop , Country 2-step, Latin dances, The hustle, Ballroom Dances, Line Dances & the ShimSham, from 1974 – 2006. Now has 11 yrs. Experience teaching Ballroom Dances: Foxtrot, Waltz, East Coast & West Coast Swing including Lindy Hop. Carolina Shag, 3 count Hustle, Cha Cha, Rumba, Tango, Cumbia, Bolero, Country 2-Step, Salsa & line dancing.

Dance lessons offered by Julia are tailored to each student's needs and level. Lessons can also be held online. Lessons are also available in Perry. The first lesson is free to define learning goals and methodology.
