About Joyce
We are a group of professional performers and teaching artists (in music, movement/dance and drama/theatre) of different backgrounds with over 10 years of teaching and childcare experience. We are consistently collaborating with Early childhood consultants and Elementary school educators to bring comprehensive, effective, developmentally appropriate and fun activities to your school or childcare center! Our teachers can speak the following languages: English, Spanish, Russian, Mandarin, Japanese, Filipino (Tagalog), French and German.
I am passionate about performing arts education and we want to share our love for music, movement and theatre in New York.
The Young Artist (formerly known as Ally Artists Enrichment) was established in 2012.
I have been a teaching artist since I was in college and I supported myself through it. I love practicing my art and that is why I also love sharing it in the best way I know how. I constantly learn ways to improve how I teach to be a more effective teacher.
For now, I am receiving online or live stream classes anywhere in North America.
Because I love what I do, I decided to share it with other while I make a living.
Music - I have a Masters in Music and attended Juilliard for Vocal Arts
Dance and Movement - I grew up dancing and I consistenlty attend classes at Broadway Dance Center, Dance sport and Piel Canela. I competed as a hip hop dance crew and in dance sport from high school to post-grad
Administration - I have more than 10 years of Administrative work and have attended Baruch for Arts Administration

I give a free 15 min to 30 min class online
all types from babies to adults to elderly.. from beginners to advanced, from standard to special education.
Foundation and progress are important in the arts. Sometimes, students would opt for more affordable teachers, it can be still effective but it is better to hire a teacher who is experienced, skilled and willing to give a free session so that you and the teacher can assess the the skills that you need work on. :)
Remember that education is different from performance. Someone can be a great dancer but not an effective teacher.
When my students did very well in their recital and presentation after months of fun and hard work!
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
What specific skills would you like to learn? why are you taking this class? Do you really want to learn the skill or you were told to learn the skill? there is no right and wrong answer but this will determine how you can progress as a student. If you are genuinely interested in something, then you will surely sky rocket in your progress. Yas!
