About Candice

If you want to be happy and healthy, then I can help you physically, mentally, and spiritually.

I am a dance fitness instructor and a holistic health guide that can help you to live a healthier lifestyle through exercise, natural foods, and divine practices.

We will focus on having fun and honoring our bodies as we learn hula dance fitness basics and the Hukilau song to begin with, and then move onto more advanced moves when you are ready.

Whether you are a beginner or advanced, young or old, out of shape or in top shape, or somewhere in between, I can personalize the dance fitness class to you.

It can be done sitting in a chair for those who are more comfortable using their arms more than their feet.

It can be done at different intensity levels so those who want a cardio workout and strengthen their legs, core , back, neck, and arms will be satisfied.

I am in Lake Wales, FL although my number has a Virginia area code 😉

I started teaching for free at my church in order to entertain the folks at the nursing home with a few ladies to brighten up their day.

When my husband passed on, I started teaching freelance at the senior center and fitness center for my enjoyment and fitness, and to earn an income.

I learned hula dancing from the Magical Hula Girls dance troupe that performed on the Las Vegas strip.

I also performed with them at restaurants and private venues.

About the lesson

I like to find out what experience a new student has with hula dancing and what physical challenges they may be dealing with and what they want to get out of each session.

I have worked with children, adults, elderly, disabled, experienced dancers, and beginners.
