About ANGIE
I love to dance! I always have, and I always will. I believe that anyone can dance, regardless of age, race, gender or disability. I want to teach others that happiness can be acheived through dance. I do not believe in telling someone they are not good enough to be on a team.
I have been dancing for 25 years. I danced with Sunrise Dance Academy in Pocatello for many years, and taught students. I have choreographed for team competitions, solo's, and wedding dances. My choreography is fun and upbeat! I believe in pushing students to achieve their upmost potential. But I will never push them over the edge.
Dance should be fun, uplifting and help teach students about working together as a supportive, cohesive team.
I started teaching in Pocatello in 1999. I took a long break when my child was born, and started back up in 2018.
We will have a recital at the end of the year where students will perform. They are taught two dances throughout the year and for the older ones I sometimes let them pick what they want to learn that year.

Students are put into their appropriate age group, and will learn technique, barre and learn a dance.
Know what exactly you want to learn. Is it getting your splits and leaps down? Do you want to focus on a particular type of dance, or have you not quite found your passion and want to try a few different styles? Do you want to compete? Ask a lot of questions.
