About Kirah

Kirah has been studying the art of belly dance for nearly a decade. During that time she has traveled nationally and internationally to study a wide range of styles & teachers from tribal to cabaret.

She has been a professional belly dancer since 2013 and began teaching in 2014. Since then she has taught a variety of class styles from private one on one lessons to workshops. Visit the "Education" & "Teaching Philosophy" tabs to learn more.

Whatever holds you back, shes probably been there and can help you work around/through it. Kirah strives to create safe open class environments where her students can feel comfortable.

Outside of her on going dance studies (never stop learning), she makes it a priority to educate herself as a teacher.

Bellyqueen Level 1 Teacher Training - 40 hours
Bellyqueen Level 2 Teacher Training - 20 hours

She is currently perusing further studies focused on the body including: anatomy, somatics, learning patterns and more.

About the lesson

Kirah has worked with all levels of students from those who have never danced before to those of professional level.
