About Brenna
At the YMCA Sports Academy our goal is two-fold...
First, to provide top-notch gymnastics, dance, cheer and tumbling training programs that is designed to assist each participant with the growth and development of their individual skill levels while teaching teamwork and sportsmanship. Secondly, we strive to use the avenue of sports to teach and incorporate the character values of caring, honesty, respect, responsibility, and faith.
This mission and message is accomplished in many forms through a variety programs and leagues. Our desire to help each participant take their skill to the next level while instilling character attributes that will serve them off the mat for a lifetime. Therefore, on behalf of the YMCA, thanks in advance for letting me serve you and your child through gymnastics, mentorship and ministry.
There is so much enjoyment that comes with this field of work. Being able to help a child learn and new skill, such as a cartwheel, and master that skill, as well as seeing the joy and excitement that comes with it is one of the main reasons I love what I do.
A background in gymnastics, cheerleading, dance and/or tumbling as well as being great with kids.

I like to take the opportunity to discuss with the parents and the student their goals and desires then conduct an initial evaluation. From that moment forward I work closely with the client on an individual level to build, develop and grow their gymnastics skill, passion and character through focused individual and/or group instruction.
