About Gabrielle
I am a 22-year-old professional dancer in the twin cities community. I am a company member of SRONGMovement and am currently dancing with several others in within the community. I am a hard working motivated dancer and teacher. I have been teaching for 3 years and enjoy being able to fuel others passion for the art form of dance.
I enjoy being able to meet new people and being able to teach and learn from others. I love being able to not only teach the things I have come to learn but also being able to help my students find confidence and trust within themselves through dance. Dance is so expressive in whatever style you are studying in and I enjoy being able to teach that.
I received training at Perpich Center for Arts and Education and the TU Center for Dance I am trained and training in Ballet, Modern, Contemporary, Several styles of Hip-hop, West African and Afro-Carribean Dance.

When working with a new student I start off getting to know them personally and physically. Personally, because I believe in building relationships with my students, so I can get to know them as well as for them to get to know me. Physically, because I have to see the way they are comfortable moving so I can make the best lesson plan for them to teach without putting them in uncomfortable movement or throwing movement at them that just aren't ready for yet.
