About Sami

I am a ballroom teacher and coach providing ballroom lessons of all ages. I teach individual, couple, and group classes. I was a competitor 20+ years. I have a long experinece teaching competitors and social dances as well. I also assit dancers in show cases and competitions (Pro-Am). New Entry Level Summer Classes start May 27th, 2021. I enjoy meeting new people and teaching them skills for life. I enjoy the process of learning something new and/or improving towards mastery.

My parents were dance teachers, so I started very early.

I started dancing when I was 10 years old. I have been dancing now 41 years. I have my formal dance education from International Dance Teachers Association (England). I have also a USA Dance and World DanceSport Fedaration licences. As a competitor, I was professional World and European Championship Finalist with my wife Karita.

About the lesson

I teach ballroom and latin american dances in different studios in the ATL area (Marietta & Alpharetta), but my main location in Duluth. After your initial contact, we'll set up a time for the lessons. Next, I want to know your goals. It does not matter if your goal is one lesson only, or if you want to learn e.g. bolero and perform it in 3 months.

I have taught all kind of students. Beginners to professionals. I also teach children too. Singles, couples, and groups. My entry level ballroom group classes begin again on MAy 27th (2021) in Duluth. Call Karita (concealed information) to book your spot. No partner needed.

There some ballroom teachers in the area, so you have some options to choose from. I work as an independent teacher, so with me, you don't have to affiliate with any studio or franchise.
