About Marisa
Although I admire those who run large dance schools with performance opportunities, that is NOT what I do. I get down to the nitty gritty with my students and be absolutely sure they understand the fundamentals in their technique before moving on. I use various methods and exercises to enhance regular class work including Pilates equipment, physical therapists, and nutritionists to meet the whole person where they are in their journey.
I absolutely LOVE the moment when a student says they can't do something and a few moments (or weeks ) later, they DO IT!!
I have trained and danced as a professional ballet dancer for almost 40 years as well as had the opportunity to work in various disciplines and cross training. I have A LOT of information to draw from!
