About Lindsay
I have danced my since age 3. I have over 20 years of teaching. I have also taught follies, theater, jitter bug, ballet, acro, jazz, hiphop, lyrical, modern, chorus line, combo, mom and me, tap, ballet, zumba, private lessons, pointe, worship, tots, leaps, turns, stretching classes and more. I have a very bubbly personality. I have a 14 year old daughter Dulcie. She has been an assistant teacher for years now. She has danced since age 2. I do a lot of private lessons and travel to clients homes and businesses.
Dance is such a unique way to connect with each individual. Having goals and always encouraging each person in their own way is exciting to me. I love helping students get that hard trick or working on choreography. Seeing their smiles and passion is what drives me. Dance is not just a job for me it is my life. I couldn't imagine not teaching. I have training threw Dance Masters of Michigan!! I also have years of experience with all ages! Literally all; as young as 2 and as old as 92!! It can be just for fun, physical therapy, working out, and so much more. It can also be a learning experience. Teaching how to build trust and friendship through dance! I have also worked with special needs clients and physical therapy!! I really enjoy that, and I have my training and experience as a certified nurse assistant.
I also own and run a full hair salon. LindzStylz Salon in Battle Creek. I have done hair for over 25 years. My favorite part of my job is making people feel beautiful. Giving each client that confidence and encouragement we all need! I also travel with this business as well. Weddings and updos are my specialty. I am also known for Harder Techniques like White Blonde Highlights and All-over color! I offer multiple services including haircuts, color, waxing, updos, makeup, airbrush makeup, layering, styling, massage, makeup and styling classes, day to night lessons on hair and makeup, large events, runway, modeling, dance recitals and more! This is a huge part of my life and very important to me. It is a blessing to share my gifts!

I concentrate on each students areas they need help with . I encourage them and teach them best one on one how to improve in a fun and positive way! I am also great with large groups. I feel like you get what you put in. Dance is not just a job to me it is a love of mine and part of me!! Each student had there our strengths and own way of learning. I am very creative in ways to help them in there own learning strengths. Not everyone learns the same. I love finding what helps them feel confident and use that to encourage them with that. I know some of us have 2 left feet. Anyone can be a dancer!!
