About Soumitra
I have recently retired after 30+ years of working as an engineer and a mathematical programmer in two different industries. Other than a PhD in Electrical Engineering, I also have a MS in Math, both from very well known schools in the US. I learned Math my own way, reading books that I liked. Everything was intuitive after some time. I can guide you develop such intuition and help you practice problems that reinforce such concepts. However, most jobs also need implementation skills. Computer science and programming come in handy. Discrete math, data structures and algorithm design are also some of my other favorite topics. I like to influence young minds and make kids think the right way for a career in math and science.
