About Haden
I have played chess for 8 years now. I have competed in multiple competitions and have won 2. In middle school I use to be chess captain winning 4 1st place trophies for my school. During that time this time I was invited to Miami where I taught principals from Florida about the importance of chess as an elective in schools.
I took a class on it and after becoming the best in the school of a thousand I taught a class of my own.
I have been in chess tournaments and played this game for 8 years.

I will teach them about the history of chess. From their I will move to what the strategy and tactics are and how to use them in chess. I will have a concept of thinking skills which allows my students to look at problems in a different way.
I have worked with a range from just starting to already competing in tournaments.
Make sure they don't just teach chess. This sport allows so much to offer. For example as Robert Ferguson states,from the American Chess School, explained that junior high students who played chess scored 35% higher in creative writing and 13% higher in critical thinking
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
They should just ask no question is stupid. It shows the teacher that the student is interested.
