About Christina
In my studies I have had excellent teachers, however the explanation of proper left-hand cello technique can have a treacherous and confusing gap of variation amongst the cello community. I would love to make sure I can simply explain how to develop and maintain a hand shape and left arm posture to facilitate agility and avoid excessive force and tension on the finger board. Bow technique is equally as important and left and right hand independence is essential to success. All practicing must be accompanied by the use of a mirror to ensure your technique is firmly established and maintained.
Music is something I receive joy from partaking in and creating. Working as a musician has its many ups and downs so being able to teach is a way to continue making music with others and helping them enjoy it more, as well.
