I have over 14 years of sales and business administration experience. I have leveraged my skills sets into a multifaceted leader for Sales Departments and provide specialized support based on the needs of any given organization. My skills include, Account Management, Business Development, Account Collections, Excellent Communication skill sets, Interpersonal and Customer Service Orientated Office Management, Event Planning, & Executive Level Administrative Support. The work I do is driven by a deep passion for the cause. PYT's mission is simple, to make finance for higher education more accessible. With this comes an exciting and varied workday that is both technical but also creative. I manage both student's personal journeys to achieving their College degrees and also the in-depth financial analysis of the market to efficiently run PYT as a business.
My company PYT is based on serving underserved students of higher education. Because of this, I have a notion to serve all those in the education system that may require assistance or guidance in their pursuit of academic success, whatever that means to them. I volunteered in the most historically black college in the U.S. Here I saw the trials within the community of seniors struggling to graduate in their final semesters. This struck a nerve with me and I was impassioned to help this issue through any platform I had access to. I have provided a financial literacy class held on Youtube, this helped students learn how to finance their education and support their credit.
I have a BA in Political Science and International Relations. This has allowed me to understand and respect the importance of higher education. Therefore, I am invested in aiding students that are ambitious in striving towards their college education. My professional experience has facilitated my knowledge and training through 'real-life' experience that I find to be invaluable and something that I aim to impart on students

Once contacted I would set up a video call so to introduce myself and make sure that the student and I would be a good fit. I would ask the student to outline their academic requirements and to highlight what they are looking for in a mentor. I would also ask them to outline what they aim to gain from the experience of being tutored and how they see their own development progressing. If this goes well then I would invite them to the PYT office space so they can meet the rest of the team and we can begin our journey as student and teacher.
