About James

Hi! My name is James. I am a business/commercial employee at a supermajor oil & gas company going on nearly 3 years. I'm a Georgia Tech Dean's Scholar graduate in Supply Chain with 3 internships (one int'l), exchange program, and several leadership org. roles experienced.

MISSION: Provide relevant, proven tools & resources to navigate through business and leadership.

The current pandemic, as challenging as it's been, has inspired me do help however I can at a fair cost to support loved ones. Two birds, one stone.

Below are some areas of expertise that I personally wished was taught or shown to me going through school.

I've enjoyed teaching and helping others reach understanding since I started informally tutoring AP classes, as I was taking them, to my peers. Since then, I've focused my tutoring to giving insider tips and tricks on business and college topics that were rarely discussed beforehand.

High School GED

Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration (Georgia Institute of Technology)

Previous experience tutoring in high school, college, and at current workplace

Several undergraduate leadership roles including one of 100+ active members with multimillion dollar construction project management support

About the lesson

I was never a fan of standardized teaching!

My emphasis would be on customizing the tutoring session based on development areas and student's personal interests. If there is a school/business/leadership goal they'd like to achieve, we can map out how to arrive there.

With any topic, we'd start with the foundations. Building blocks of knowledge that allows for better 'aha' moments to more complex business or leadership concepts.

A standard 30 minute session could include topics such as:

1) Introductions/Mental warm-up/Recap
2) Selected Topic (Intro, Real Life Examples, Tips)

3) Knowledge Concept Checkpoint

4) Personal Lessons Learned

5) AMA (Ask me anything)
