About Kristina

I strive to connect personally in a way that helps students feel comfortable. My hope is that students will feel relaxed and excited about learning.

I love helping people understand new concepts and seeing the ideas "click!"

My teaching experience is limited, but I am pursuing my Master's with the potential of continuing education to teach at the collegiate level.

I hold two bachelor's degrees and am in the middle of working toward my MA.

About the lesson

When working with a new student, my first goals are to establish a personal connection, hear what they are looking for help with, and help them set goals for moving forward.

I have many years of experience working with elementary and younger age kids in children's ministry.

I have also tutored a middle school student.

If you are looking for a general tutor, make sure that it is someone that you (or your student) can connect with easily so that you feel comfortable asking questions and discussing the topic until you understand it.

Despite COVID, this Christmas was very fun and very sweet! I got my sisters and their puppies matching Christmas pj's and it was adorable!
