About Kynan

I am an accomplished performer and experienced teacher. I am a graduate of the Cleveland Institute of Music, and perform with professional orchestras such as the Virginia Symphony and the Cayuga Chamber Orchestra.

I am also a gigging electric bass player and have played with metal, rock, funk and rap groups.

My goal is for every student to find their groove and to learn more about themselfs through music.

I love performing and I wanted to help others discover that same joy!

About the lesson

I like to find the music that speaks to them, and get them to discover their inner artist. At first it is a lot of grind work, but with patients every student will learn to have fun playing music!

All ages and levels.

Find a teacher who will litsen to your needs.

Recently I joined a cover band where we do a lot of 90's covers. I got to play the music that I grew up litsening to, and have never felt happier in my life.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
What goals do you have? Could be as simple or complicated as you want.

Be upfront about how much time you are willing to commit to the process, so the teacher can adjust accordingly.

Be honest about the music you are interested in, playing music you like makes the process so much easier.

I took lessons with Kynan as an adult bass student. He taught me everything from standing with the bass, to comfortable shifting around to different positions, to playing musically as a bassist. Always professional and very knowledgeable. Personalized every lesson to help achieve my goals. Highly recommend for bassists of all ages and levels.
