About Justin
I have many years of professional experience playing many styles of bass. I play classical as well as jazz, blues, rock, cumbia, salsa, reggae, etc... I have worked as a professional bassist for my entire life and I continue to grow and learn about the act of playing music. Music is infinite and I have invested my life to it - the knowledge and skills I possess you cannot get from a part time player.....

When I sit down with new student, I try to gain an understanding of where they're at on the bass and where they want to get to in terms of musical lamguage and skills. I also have a underlying goal of playing more than talking, although talking is of course necessary as well. Often times I will not say anything first and just start playing something and encourage the student to play with me. Music teaches us to live in the moment and during a lesson it is my goal to be totally present with the student.
