About Chelsea

I grew up playing basketball since I was 4. When I got older, I assistant coached alongside my father in traveling basketball. After I felt I had enough experience, I began giving lessons!

I have a bachelors degree in communication, a masters in education , and a second masters in sports management. The skills I have learned have helped me with my coaching to be able to communicate with various personalities and handle adversity. I've also been able to better my leadership skills and team building skills with working alongside others.

About the lesson

The first couple of sessions, will be an evaluation of several skills such as ball-handling, shooting, and passing to see what level the athlete is. It will the. Follow with goal setting for short term and long term.

after the first couple of sections, we will meet once or twice a week or bi weekly and will work on what needs to be worked on and progress to more advanced skills as we develop .

Ages 8 to 18. Some athletes have gone on to play college, while others just wanted to learn new skills.

Ask questions if you are unsure of things. And ALWAYS work hard. Lessons are meant for you to push boundaries and try to get better. Just be yourself and have fun !

Coaching with my boss and defeating the current first place team in our conference. We prepared hard for 4 days to strategize to win and our athletes came in very prepared and we won!
