About Laurin

I started teaching the game of basketball by training my teammates in college and leading them in workouts. I also worked many camps and clinics while I was in college and while I played professional . My love for teaching the game grew from there.

I've played basketball for over 20 years. I have D1 NCAA playing experience as well as 5 years of Professional experience. I am also a certified Personal Trainer.

About the lesson

My typical for working with a student is an initial consultation. I think it’s important to know as much about my student athletes as possible. You will receive an athlete performance consultation form along with a optional free consultation call. The initial consultation is an essential part of my teaching philosophy. The purpose of the consultation is to identify the athlete’s specific goals so that we can tailor the session with those goals. The objective is to have a concise plan in place before we even begin the session on the court.

I've worked with all ages from beginners to Professionals.

I would advice students and their parents to make sure their teachers are tailoring their lessons to the students specific needs. Make sure the teacher is well rounded in their area of teachings

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Questions students should ask are " what are my goals? " what do I want to accomplish from this training ? Does this training align with my purpose ? Am I willing to be work hard in order to fulfill my purpose
