About Leonard

Practice dose not make per, Perfect practice makes perfect. No gimmicks straight basketball at its finest.

I enjoy watching players get better and seeing them transform right in front of my eyes. After training with me players always say, I wish I had met you earlier.

In 1981 I had just got out of the Marines and a friend of mine ask me to help him coach his middle school teams ( 6 7 and 8th grade ) they needed individual work, but we didn't have enough time in practice, so I told them if you want to do skills work come on Saturday and Sunday out onto the black top. The first day I had 3 or 4 kids and by the 3rd week I had 65 kids from all over the place.

I've been coaching and training basketball players before there were trainers. I've played basketball in high school college and summer pro league. And I am a ex marine.

About the lesson

The first time I meet with a new player I like to talk with them and see how they see them self and what areas they think they need to improve in.

Then I would like to see what you do well.

Then I will put you through a few drills to see where your are.

Then I will like to talk to you about what I can do for you and what you have to do for you to have the success you want to have.

If I see that you are dedicated I will push you to be better than you thought you could be.

I've worked with all kinds of students. Boys and Girls, Men and Women. From elementary to Pro.

Make sure they are who they say they are and have other that can speak up for them.
