About Matthew

I got started teaching as I was still a player. I would always help others grow as a player even if i'm in the middle of playing them in a game. I love helping others and I love training others mainly because I was my biggest coach and trainer for myself so I know the hardwork and dedication it takes and I know how hard you gotta push yourself and others. I do have some experience with one-on-one coaching even though I was never paid, I never asked to be paid. I did voluntarily coach a kid's basketball team once which I had the pleasure and joy working with them and watching them grow as players and people.

I have graduated highschool and throughout highschool I have played basketball and focused on my fitness all throughout. I actually played some varsity when I was a freshmen and I learned and grew just from that. I have been on a few teams throughout my life and have worked with many coaches and trainers along with training myself with hardwork and dedication.

About the lesson

I would get to know whoever i'm working with and understand what they want to achieve and work on. Then I would go through their skills and knowledge they already know and assess what is needed in order to grow and learn. After all that, personal workouts would be made and formed so that we could get to work and I could help them grow with whatever they need.

I have worked with many kinds of students. Not just in the world of basketball, but in physical fitness itself. I have coached a kid's team from the ages 10-12, but I have also helped/trained teenagers, and young adults all the way to grown men.

If you are looking for anyone to help you grow in whatever area you are looking for just make sure they genuinely care about what they are teaching and they are passionate about it. That will definitely go a long way because it will help you learn so much from someone who cares about what they are teaching and it shows they know what they are talking about.
