About Tierre

My service is tailored to each individual student athlete. I work to improve all skills and basketball IQ. Teaching the game is important to a student athletes success because the game is 90% mind and 10% talent. I look to help student athletes achieve their goals we set in our priliminary meeting. I look forward to working with you and helping you reach your peak performance.

I have been coaching and training on various levels from Middle School to College and Semi Pro since 2000. I enjoy seeing a students confidence level rise to the level of play. You have to believe in yourself to achieve your goals. I work to empower student athletes to take control of their future and work to achieve their goals in life.

I was a player and then transitioned to a coach. While coaching on the college level I saw that there were skills skipped in kids playing basketball. I focused on helping kids change their current situation while providing them with a platform to expand their view on life.

I have a masters degree from UNC and various certifications that support my goals and aspirations of being the best trainer I can be.

About the lesson

I start my session by asking the student athlete before we work out so they can tell me what thier goal is for being at workouts/training that day. The first session I evaluate all aspects of the game and I monitor their work ethic as well as their skill set. We will work on ball handling, shooting, moving without the ball, defense, footwork, and conditioning.

I have trained various students from elementary school to semi pro and over seas athletes.

To ensure that you find a trainer that is focused on helping you get better and one that is going to push you past your limits. Comfort does not create success.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
What is their overall goal? Do they really want this? Are they focused on the big picture or do you just want some training?
