About Dominique

We focus on fundamentals 1st, then we add things into your bag of tricks

Basketball is life for me, so I love being able to teach my passion to others with the same passions.

I became a skill's trainer when my own children started playing the game of basketball 6years ago.

My father was a 35+ year Hish School Coach in CHASA, who I played for at TJHS. After HS I played College ball at Lamar CC. I am a USA basketball certified Gold Coach & USA Basketball Coaches Clinic grab. I also am a Point Guard College (PGC) grad of all 3 of there courses,1 Point Guard College, 2 Play Makers College & 3 PGC Shooting College. I am also CPR/AED Certified & have been Coaching club 5-18u & HS Basketball for the past 5 years.

About the lesson

1st I have a basic workout with my new client, going over all basic aspects of the game so I am sevwhat level the player is in each area. This gives me a basic idea of how difficult of drills to start with in each area for the player.

I have worked with all ranges of skilled athletes, from just starting out to D1 potential athletes.

Hard Work Beasts Talent, When Talent Does Not Work Hard!

Don't buy into the gimmicks, 90% of the drills you see social media are not going to get you a college scholarship because college Offenses are run off of the 3 dribble attack at most. If you can't score in 3 dribbles, then you won't even play.

A young man I started working with in the summer of 2020 made the Colorado All State Team in the 2020-21 season.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
You should ask know why your doing each drill you do, how it will benefit you on the court & how to apply the move in a game situation. Just being able to do something doesn't guarantee you a chance at attempting it. You have to understand how to get to the areas on the floor with and without the ball to be able to apply what you have learned.
