About Alan

I played competitive basketball for most of my life as early as junior high school. I taught physical education and coached basketball for the New York City Board Of Education and also participated in the PAL league coaching a team.

I played for St.Partrick's High School where many NBA players today came from. I also played Division 1 basketball at Long Island University. After I graduated I played in a semi pro basketball league in California.

I understand the game on a different level.

About the lesson

I will typically start with an assesment of basic basketball skills for offense, defense, knowledge and physical ability.

From there I help them to develop a workout plan to consisitently improve their skills.

Usually kids from age 14 and up with different skill levels.

Pick the teacher who understand what your child/student needs to get better. Pick someone who knows how to properly communicate effectively to get a positive response from the child or student. Pick someone who can be a role model for your child/student.

Details

My prices start at $50 dollars for either 60 or 90 minutes. It depends on the amount of players signed up for that particular time frame.

I have a limit of 8 to 10 kids to make sure each student receives the amount of attention needed to get better each lesson.
