About Ben

Head coach of Mt. Baker High School's varsity boys basketball team. Finds unique and engaging ways to build on basketball skills, technique and strength.

Engaging and connecting with individuals as well as assisting with their growth in a sport they love.

Coaching and child development jobs while I was in college shed a light on the passion I have working with youth and helping them to realize their potential.

I am the head coach of a high school boys basketball program

About the lesson

First I seek to understand their skill set and motivators. Then I find what their needs are, and balance that with my own perception of their needs. After that I look to build a solid foundation such as balance, dexterity and strength that makes development of future skills like athleticism, passing and shooting much easier.
