About Luke
I am genuinely excited every time I get to work with a new player because that means I get the opportunity to help another kid (or adult) as they develop their passion for the sport that I love so much. I tailor every plan and every workout specifically to the player I am working with to ensure that you get the most out of every session.
While I love playing basketball, I get even more joy out of seeing my players love the sport the same way that I do. There is no better feeling than watching a player make progress each and every week towards become the player that I know they have the potential to be.
I have always loved playing, coaching, and teaching basketball, and I have a passion for training younger players and teaching them to play the game of basketball the right way.
In addition to playing and studying the game of basketball from a young age, I have:
coached youth basketball (age 10-14) for 6 years,
worked as an intern on a division 1 men's basketball team, and
individually trained both boys and girls from youth -high school.

Our first session will be completely FREE and last around thirty minutes. In that session the player will run through some basic drills so that I can get familiar with their skillset and they can become familiar with my style. After that, we will work out a consistent schedule, and I will develop a plan that allows us both to best apply our time towards the player's goals.
Youth - high school players of all skill level and experience.
Find someone who truly understands both the game of basketball and the person who they are teaching. If you are not learning and improving, you may just not connect well with your teacher, or they may not have the understanding needed to help you succeed.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Knowing your own goals is the most important thing, I can't help you get to where you want to be if I don't know where that is.

Coach Luke has been working with my 12-year old son who is looking for skill improvement, specifically better shooting form and ball handling. Luke has been fantastic with him. My son is very enthusiastic about going to the sessions and I can see the improvement in his skills already after only a couple of sessions. Would highly recommend.
I coached with Luke for several years in a youth league. He has a tremendous basketball IQ and really knows the game. He works great with the players, keeping them engaged and focused. He does an excellent job of player development and really instills confidence in those he works with.
