Usually, the first lesson will be used as an assessment period where I gauge the skill level of the player. From there, I develop a plan where I can amplify the player's strengths while working to address areas in need of improvement. Usually the lesson includes several different aspects of drill work before moving into implementing those skills in a competitive environment. Safety for the athlete is always extremely important as all throwing athletes must monitor their workload and develop techniques to strengthen their arm. Lessons are typically 1 hour and can be done 1-2 times per week.
