About Jeff
I focus on building up a student's personal well-being and confidence levels. Yes, fundamentals of the game are always taught, and even a few "tricks of the trade" that can come in handy as players grow and develop into varsity-level and beyond. But I do not get overly technical with players as I find that to be more confusing to them.
Coming from a family of educators, I have spent nearly my entire professional career in educational publishing, edtech (building and advising student-centric companies like DoSomething.org), and coaching youth sports. As an adult, I have a unique opportunitiy to give back to young people all of the help and guidance that I was lucky to receive from others.
