About Phil
I was a coach for almost 20 years working with youth players from the ages of 8 - 17.
Watching the players gain an understanding of what I have shown them and see them improve is very satisfying
I started coaching my sons, first my older boy then my younger one.
I played baseball in Little League for 8 years, High School ball for 4 years, College ball for 4 years, Numerous Summer leagues and 30 years of Fast Pitch Softball. I learned how to hit from a Professional Batting instructor and I got to meet one of his Students, Brian Downing of the California Angels.

They need to know their weaknesses and strengths before asking any questions. They should ask how an instructor will help with their weakness and how will they help to improve on their strength.
