About Brandon

I hail from a long line of coaches, my mother still coaches a dance team at 70 yrs old, my brother coaches for our hometown High School Baseball team, and my dad has coached at every level of youth baseball and softball including All-Stars and won several state titles at those levels.

My personal success includes playing at a high caliber at every level of baseball up to the Semi-Pro level. I was offered scholarships at multiple D1 and D2 schools and even entered talks with the Royals organization before injury permanently ended my baseball career. I then went into the Marine Corps and played/coached the installation baseball teams in Quantico, VA and Okinawa, Japan.

I specialize in catchers, infielders, and pitching mechanics. I emphasize fundamental baseball and use tactics and drills that I have learned over my 25 years of experience as a player and a coach. I like to evaluate a player's mental capacity for baseball and coach-ability to determine the best course of instruction for each individual player, each player is different and therefore they respond to different stimuli based on personality and their driving factors.

I LOVE watching a player succeed! It don't care if it's something as simple as not being afraid of getting hit by the ball or if it's increasing BA from .180 to .250. I have never forgotten that personal gratification that you get as a player when you accomplish something you work so hard to accomplish and to have the knowledge that I helped them get there swells myself with pride in the player. My playing days may be done but your player days are just beginning and I would love to look up and see someone that I coached holding a championship trophy, or an individual award, or maybe someday hoisting the World Series trophy. That is my dream, what's yours?
