About Julian

I love making an athlete better. Seeing theirr passion grow as their skills develop, turning them into a top tier athelete. I have played baseball since the age of 4, playing for some of the best teams in Alpharetta and East Cobb. I went to the University of Tennessee as a preferred walk on before getting injured. I began coaching at Grand Slam Sportscenter in Alpharetta giving lessons and camps and since then have coached for some of the top traveling teams in GA. Let me help develop your athlete and have them reach their highest potential.

I began teaching at Grand Slam Sportscenter.  After my injury in college I began working giving camps and lessons at Grand Slam Sportscenter

I have played baseball since I was 4 and have been attending week long overnight camps since I was 7.  I went to the University of Tennessee as a preferred walk on.  I have coached numerous camps and given private lessons at Grand Slam Sportscenter coaching along side of former major leaguers and have been a head coach for top travelling teams in GA.

I like to assess all of my athletes first by examining them in the batting cages and on the field.  I watch all aspects like the grip on the bat, footwork, transfer of weight through swing, and even hand and head movement.  In the field I watch throwing motion, grip on the baseball and glove placement while receiving a ball.  After that we ramp up the workouts to improve on areas that need work based on the athletes skill level.  Beginners will learn the basic fundamentals which are need to develop into a top tier athlete.  While more advanced athletes will learn more advanced techniques.

I have worked will all ages of athletes ranging from ages 4-16.  I have coached kids that have just begun there baseball journey and those that are highly talented and looking to be drafted by the MLB.

Look for someone that you can relate to and that energizes you to play the game.  Look for someone to motivate you, so that you can get the most out of their coaching.  This game is fun and you want to have fun but also get better day in and day out

Coaching my sons T-Ball team a kid hit a ground ball to the third baseman and he fielded the ground ball and threw it across the diamond to first.  My first baseman caught it in the air and we made an out.  I know that might not seem like much but to get 4 year olds to understand the concept and actually make the play was amazing.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Why they are qualified to coach?

Have they coached before?

What their process is for increasing potential ability?
