About Chris

I love teaching the art of hitting to young players. Hitting is fun. Getting in that batters box with full confidence you are going to get a hit is such a powerful thing. I teach not only how to hit but how to prepare to hit. Mental and Physical aspects of hitting lead to success. I also was an all American at first base. I can help your player in the infield with his or her footwork as well as their velocity on their throws. I take pride in defense and it all starts with footwork and how you approach the ball.

I want to see my students grow and learn. The best thing in the world is to get that video from a player showing me he or she got a big hit in a game or making a great play defensely from the things he or she learned from our lessons. That gives me the greatest pride is to see my students grow and learn in this amazing game.

45 years in baseball. Started playing when I was 5. Played at a high level of ball through college and even played some semi pro ball in the mid 90s. I know the game and I can see every little nuance when it comes to teaching the art of hitting. I break it down in an easy 3 step process to help players become the hitters they are supposed to be.

About the lesson

First lesson is a get to know each other and see if we are fit. The first lesson will be be 45 min in lenght. 15 minutes to assess the player and their skill level and 30 minutes of hitting. First lesson is always $30. Call it an introductory lesson. This is where we will lay the foundation of where you want to go and how you want to proceed with lessons.
