About Selvia

This workshop is designed to help you master the art of baking, from simple techniques to more complex ones. We will cover everything from making the flakiest pie crust and decorating cookies to creating beautiful and intricate cake designs that will impress your friends and family.

During the workshop, you will have the opportunity to learn from my experiences as a pastry chef. I will guide you through the step-by-step process of creating a dessert. You will also get to practice your skills and ask questions, ensuring that you leave the class feeling confident and ready to create your own baked goods masterpieces.

During my work at private events, a client asked if I would do a cookie decorating class for a birthday party. I simply said YES and we had so much fun! From that moment, I realized that baking is just so much more fun when we do it together.

I graduated with a Pastry Art major in 2007 and went to FCI (French Culinary Institute) and ICE (Institute of Culinary Education) majoring in food styling and photography. I also learned about nutrition and the Ayurveda cooking style.

About the lesson

Students and I are working hands-on in a private space, i.e: a client's home or a rented kitchen. Tools, ingredients, and recipes will be provided by me so the students can just join the class without bringing anything. At the end of the class, students will bring home their creations.

I work with all kinds of students. Children and adults are welcome!

Cookie Decorating (1hr) $40 per child

Cupcake Decorating (1hr) $50 per child

Adults Class:

Cookie Decorating (1-1.5hrs) $50 per person

Cupcake Decorating (1-1.5hrs) $75 per person

A whole cake decorating (1.5-2hrs) $95 per person

Baking Workshops (adults)

Pies (2hrs) $75 per person

Cakes (2-3hrs) $105 per person

Cookies (2hrs) $75 per person

Tarts (2 hrs) $75 per person
