About Christina
I started tutoring my classmates for their TAAS tests in high school. I’ve had many years of experience since then. I feel every student deserves the opportunity to have someone who can give them a one on one approach at learning. Actively listening and making the student feel safe to ask questions and learn at their pace is the most important part of a tutor/student relationship.

I believe active listening is the key to tutoring students. Everyone learns differently. When I listen to my student talk about the assignment and about themselves it will give me an idea as to how they learn. Tutoring is about making your student feel confident and their ability to really understand the work. Then you can feel comfortable learning and doing the work yourself.
