About Barry
Professional artist with 33 years of experience.
Former Walt Disney Feature Animation Background Artist, Oil Painter, Concept Artist & Illustrator with 9+ years teaching at the College level. Comprehensive advice, feedback, critique and visual work-overs are my standard operating procedures. My instruction focuses on teaching simple but solid fundamental concepts: drawing, composition & design, value, color and visual storytelling. I teach traditional and digital methods.
I really enjoy seeing students taking the “next step” in their artistic journey - the learning curve. The only caveat, growth does take time, patience and hard work but well worth the effort in the end if you’re willing.
